AISD to Resume Weekend Meal Offerings
Austin ISD Food Services has reinstated its weekend meal program, allowing families with students under the age of 19 to again pick up bundles, which include six meals, during Friday distribution. Oak Springs Students Receive Free Backpacks at Fourth Annual Event
Parents and their children were moving and dancing to a DJ’s music at Oak Springs Elementary on Monday while waiting to collect a free backpack and school supplies. While the event was an outdoor, drive-thru event, the pull of the music was too strong for some.

Rosedale School identified as surplus after district evaluation (En español)
The district now has the opportunity to monetize the former Rosedale School site after the property was declared surplus, opening the option to sell or lease the land. The details: The school, located at 2117 West 49th Street, is not used by the district and the tract of land does not meet the established criteria to accommodate any future needs by Austin ISD.
