Suicide Prevention—Know the Signs, Ask for Help
The number one priority for all AISD teachers and principals is the safety and well-being of our students. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide is among the five leading causes of death for teenagers, and it’s critical to us that our school community can understand and identify the risk factors and warning signs.

Austin ISD is here to help If you or someone you know has been the victim of harassment, cyberbullying, discrimination, dating violence or any other kind of bullying, please say something. Report the incident to your principal, assistant principal, counselor, school resource officer or other trusted adult. All reports are taken seriously and investigated immediately.
