Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive—even when school is out. Through the Summer Food Service Program, Austin ISD will continue to serve free breakfast and lunch to local children and teens 18 and younger, regardless of economic status and whether or not the child attends AISD. Partnership That Helps Families and Restaurants to Continue Through December
A partnership that helps feed Austin ISD caregivers and support local restaurants will continue through December after the city of Austin voted to extend funding for the Caregiver Meal program. The Caregiver Meal program was made possible by the Austin Ed Fund’s AISD Crisis Support Fund, which received an additional $1.5 million dollars.
