Austin ISD Celebrates Grand Opening of the Modernized Murchison Middle School
Austin ISD and Murchison Middle School today celebrated the grand opening of the school’s new modernized campus, built as part of the 2017 Bond Program. Families and community members joined AISD and Murchison campus leadership this morning in a virtual event to honor the school’s new spaces.
Austin ISD Principal Selected as Texas PTA’s Elementary Principal of the Year
On Tuesday, Texas Parent Teacher Association announced the recipients for the 2021 Outstanding Educator of the Year Awards. Among 400 nominations at the elementary, secondary and district level, Reilly Elementary Principal Corrine Saenz has been selected as this year’s Elementary Principal of the Year.
AISD Board Regular Meeting Scheduled for Feb. 1
There is no scheduled board meeting for the Austin ISD’s Board of Trustees this evening, Monday, Jan. 25.
