Safety, Security and Wellness in AISD
The district is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of every student and staff member in AISD, and team members should feel secure in knowing that safety is the number one priority. Staff members and families are invited to review the resources that act to help keep our school community well-informed, healthy and out of harms way.
Student Academic Support Programs
Homebound Instruction Homebound services are available to both general education and special education students based on Texas Education Agency criteria. Information is available with each campus nurse or you may contact Jaala Smith at 512-414-1700 ext. 70164.
Advisory Bodies
What Are AISD Advisory Bodies? The Austin Independent School District values the participation and input of all community members and transparency of information and process. To that end, the district has established several advisory bodies consisting of broad stakeholder representation to provide insight and recommendations on important issues.

Austin, TX— Last night, the Austin Independent School District’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve an order calling for a bond election on May 11, 2013.

Prime Time
Tentative Schedule Prime Time after-school programming is tentatively scheduled to begin at participating campuses on October 14, 2025 and run through April 30, 2026. Campus participation is being finalized and will be confirmed by the end of August. Families will receive direct communication from their school if their campus is participating this year.
