AISD Celebrates 19th Annual Afterschool Showcase
Last week, students from across the district participated in the 19th Annual Austin ISD Afterschool Showcase at Kealing Middle School.Students spent the evening performing on stage, sharing what they’ve learned throughout the year with each other through interactive exhibits, which included topics like STEM, the arts and health and fitness.
Back to School Bash 2019

Media Advisory: USDA Food and Nutrition Leader Visits Ann Richards School Wednesday
AUSTIN, Texas—Tomorrow, Janey Thornton, deputy undersecretary for food, nutrition and consumer services at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will visit the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders to learn about Austin ISD’s farm-to-school program and how the district is meeting new federal nutritional guidelines for foods served in school cafeterias.

Lanier High School to Host Fall Festival for Community
Lanier High School will host a Viking Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. The event is open to the community and will include games, food, face painting, a bounce house and haunted house.
