AUSTIN, Texas--Austin ISD's Office of Facilities will host a community-wide meeting about the purpose of the district's Facility Master Plan from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at LBJ High School cafeteria, 7309 Lazy Creek Drive.Team members will provide a snapshot of the district's profile and financials and review the board-approved Facility Master Plan's guiding principles.

Austin ISD will break ground May 13 on an approximately 5,000-square-foot building to accommodate the new Career Launch program at LBJ Early College High School.The program, a partnership with Seton Healthcare Family and Austin Community College, allows students to earn an associate degree in health science, preparing them to further their education in the medical field.

The boxes will feature locally grown produce, such as peppers, melons, squash, carrots and other seasonal staples. The Common Market Texas, a mission-driven distributor of sustainable, local farm foods will prepare and deliver the produce boxes to AISD.
