Austin ISD prepared for Omicron, ready to start school on Wednesday (En Español)
With Austin ISD resuming classes as scheduled after the Winter Break, staff and families can help prevent the spread of the Omicron variant by getting boosted this week, getting tested at one of our 11 hubs beginning Monday, Jan. 3, and by double-layering masks that fit well on Wednesday when classrooms re-open.

Will all children (vaccinated or not) have mask choice next year without restrictions such as distancing or plexiglass? Answer: Restrictions such as distancing and plexiglass will depend on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Austin Public Health at that time. We’ll communicate with our families about those procedures and any changes over the summer.
HopeFest 2018
HopeFest, Austin's largest campus-based family resource fair, is 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m. Oct. 27 at Reagan Early College High School. This free event is, now in its 13th year, brings together more than 3,000 attendees with 150 exhibitors to celebrate the northeast Austin community and provide health, dental, vision, housing, employment, legal, educational, Blue Santa and other resources.

Board Approves Human Sexuality and Responsibility Scope and Sequence
The Austin ISD Board of Trustees approved the revised Human Sexuality and Responsibility scope and sequence at its February 25 meeting.
