Austin ISD Celebrates Physical Fitness and Sports Month
AISD is supporting the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition in honor of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.During the month of May, all AISD staff are challenged to get 30 minutes of physical activity every day. Austin ISD's Board of Trustees has established the Distinguished Level of Achievement as the district's prescribed graduation plan beginning with the Class of 2018. The trustees also approved the requirement of one credit of physical education and one half credit of health to meet graduation requirements for all plans beginning with the Class of 2018.
