Dove Springs families get visit from AISD at Operation Reconnect Action Day
Austin ISD families in the Dove Springs neighborhood received a friendly visit at their homes Saturday morning as part of the district’s Operation Reconnect Action Day.
Inaugural Mueller Juneteenth Celebration
The Mueller Neighborhood Association is hosting its inaugural Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Branch Park Pavilion (2006 Philomena Street, Austin, TX 78723). This immersive event will highlight Black-owned businesses, historical education, and interactive activities.

Alvan the Little Book Bus at Campbell Elementary School
Alvan the Little Book Bus is here to help students keep reading all summer! Alvan will be making stops at eight Austin ISD schools this summer, and all kids - from babies to teenagers - are invited to come to meet Alvan and pick out free books to take home. Alvan will be visiting Campbell Elementary School on Tuesday, June 17, from 12 - 2 p.m. Join us throughout June!
