AISD Board Approves 2016-17 Instructional Calendar
The Austin ISD Board of Trustees approved the calendar for the 2016-17 school year at the Dec. 14 board meeting.This option includes a full week off for the Thanksgiving holiday, similar to other local school districts in Central Texas, in 2016.To accommodate this change, there will be one fewer vacation day during winter break for staff.
