Back to School Bash
On Aug. 12, Austin ISD, in collaboration with the city of Austin, will host its annual Back to School Bash and Safety Fair from 9 a.m.–noon at the Palmer Events Center. Almost 150 community organizations and district departments will provide information and activities to prepare AISD students for a safe and successful school year.

Framed for Success: Ann Richards Wins its First UIL State Championship
Ann Richards School for Young Women won its first state championship in a UIL competition.Ann Richards student Brooke Brogan won the UIL State Champion in division 2 for her short film, “The Garden,” in the traditional animation category.
