Austin ISD Schools, Offices Closed Thursday and Friday
Austin ISD schools and offices will close Thursday and Friday, Feb. 3-4, due to expected winter weather and road conditions. Today, all after-school activities are also canceled, including after-school care. Austin ISD COVID-19 testing hubs and vaccination sites will also be closed during this time. If the board approves a resolution, the district will not need to make up these two days.

Travis Early College High School Program Helps Students Earn Hospitality Management Degree
Austin ISD is launching an innovative program designed to help students earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Hospitality Management at no cost while attending high school. This program was created in partnership with Austin Hotel Lodging Association, Visit Austin Foundation, and Austin Community College.

As we conclude the second week of school, I wanted to share with you important safety efforts that the district is taking. Safety is our top priority, and we make every effort to ensure that every one of our students is safe, every day.
