Alvan the Little Book Bus at Govalle Elementary School
Alvan the Little Book Bus is here to help students keep reading all summer! Alvan will be making stops at eight Austin ISD schools this summer, and all kids - from babies to teenagers - are invited to come to meet Alvan and pick out free books to take home. Alvan will be visiting Govalle Elementary School on Monday, June 9, from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Join us throughout June!

Austin Ed Fund will participate in Amplify Austin – the most impactful day of giving in Central Texas. All gifts will impact AISD schools by supporting Austin Ed Fund’s teacher grant program. Amplify Austin Day 2023 Wednesday, March 1 at 6 p.m. to Thursday, March 2 at 6 p.m.
Austin ISD 18+ Programming Information Sessions
Thursday, November 7, 2024 8–9 a.m. and 12–1 p.m. Providing student, families, and case managers information on Austin ISD 18+ services and programming. Programming for 2025/2026 school year: Go Project, Project Search, Greenleaf NCC, and Transition to Life in the Community (TLC). All grade levels are encouraged to attend.
