Austin ISD Offices and Schools Closed March 18-22 for Spring Break
Austin ISD will be closed for spring break March 18-22. All AISD offices and schools will be closed during this period. The district will resume regular business hours Monday, March 25. Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign to bring awareness to the risks and dangers of substance abuse. Throughout this week, AISD will educate youth, staff, and the community about the effects of tobacco, alcohol, vaping, and other drugs on our bodies and brains. We hope that all our students and community will feel the full potential of being healthy and drug free!
Anderson High School Teacher Receives Statewide Award from Humanities Texas
Humanities Texas announced today that Elizabeth Close of Anderson High School is one of three recipients of the 2017 Humanities Texas Award for Outstanding Early-Career Teaching.State Rep. Donna Howard presented Close with her award during a ceremony today at Anderson High School.
Community Bond Oversight Committee Meeting
