En Español Device Access for All Students All Austin ISD students are able to obtain a district-supported device to use for school. PreK-2nd grade students have access to classroom sets of Chromebooks and 3rd-12th grade students are assigned a Chromebook (with charger and optional carrying case). The session had a real effect on how schools will operate in the coming year, between the passing of a bill that will revamp the social studies curriculum to inaction on a bill that would have allowed schools to continue virtual learning in the fall.
