Central Texas Dyslexia Conference
The Central Texas Dyslexia Conference event brings together dyslexia experts, education leaders, teachers, parents and advocates to raise awareness and support for students with dyslexia.This year's theme is "Unlocking the Dyslexic Advantage" and will feature speakers who will not only explain how to help students overcome reading difficulties but also how to identify and develop their strengths.
GENaustin We Are Girls Conference
What: Austin's Girls Empowerment Network (GENaustin) will be holding its annual We Are Girls Conference for girls in grades 5-12. This event is open to parents as well and will be a place that two generations can share a day of learning in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
