There will be a Dual Language information session on August 16th at two locations: 8 a.m. at Sunset Valley Elementary School and 5:30 p.m. at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center.

Parents and families will connect with others in a conversation about Austin ISD's Dual Language initiative, learning about the program and getting tips on supporting bilingualism/bilculturalism in their child.

The meetings will be facilitated by national bilingual-dual language expert Cheryl Urow, co-founder of the the Center for Teaching for Biliteracy.

Sunset Valley Elementary School is located at 3000 Jones Rd.

The PAC is located at 1500 Barbara Jordan Blvd.
