Daily attendance in school is a strong indicator of future success. Absences from class may result in serious disruption of a student’s mastery of the instructional materials.

Senior discovers passion for firefighting (En español)
Ava Martinez is graduating this month with her sights set on becoming a firefighter. A senior at Austin High School, Martinez enrolled in the Fire Academy Program at LBJ Early College High School during her sophomore year, which stoked her curiosity and passion for the trade.

Volunteers In Communities Tutoring Our Responsible Youth (VICTORY) VICTORY Tutorial is an Austin ISD program that offers free tutoring to students in grades 1–12.
