Austin ISD's Board of Trustees on Monday approved new principal appointments for Boone Elementary Schoo, Bowie High School and Burnet, Mendez and Murchison middle schools.

AISD Board of Trustees Approves New Principal Appointments

Correction: Corrine Saenz taught in Sheldon ISD at Sheldon Elementary, Sheldon Intermediate and C.E. 67 AISD Schools Earn 187 Distinction Designations

183 Austin ISD Students Earn Recognition for Academic Performance

This year, 183 Austin ISD seniors earned recognition for outstanding academic performance from the U.S. Presidential Scholars, National Merit Finalists, National Merit Semifinalists, National Merit Commended scholars and College Board National Hispanic Scholars programs.Fourteen students received recognition in more than one program.
