Principal Selection
How We Select Principals Generally, what we look for in a principal is based on the Austin ISD Leadership Framework : instructional leader; talent developer; executive leader; and culture builder. When we select a new principal, we go to the community and ask what characteristics they’d like to see in the new principal as well through a survey.
Crockett Designated a High School that Works

This competitive and highly prestigious award is a great accomplishment and a direct outcome from the campus leadership and hard-working staff.
