Austin ISD Commits to Increasing Participation by Historically Underutilized Business
Austin ISD trustees voted Monday night to approve a new program that establishes targets for the number of contracts awarded to women- and minority-owned businesses, known as a Historically Underutilized Business program. The HUB program is intended to provide equal opportunities for all vendors to garner Austin ISD contracts.

Making the Grade: New Report Card System Allows Families of Secondary Students to Get Grades Faster
Austin ISD’s technology department has found a way to get parents of secondary students their report cards faster. The district will be going digital on all secondary report cards this month for the third six-weeks report cards.Of the approximately 23,000 secondary students overall, 9,292 students are already opting for digital report cards.
