AISD Students Exceed Statewide Passing Rates on STAAR End-of‐Course Results
AUSTIN, Texas—AISD students met or exceeded the state average passing rates in all five of the STAAR end-of-course assessments administered to high school students in spring 2014, according to the preliminary statewide results released this week by the Texas Education Agency.

AISD Provides Nexus Tablets to Teachers and Nonprofits Through Grant Project with Google
Austin ISD is teaming up with Google to provide teachers or nonprofit organizations who work with AISD students with up to 100 Nexus tablets. The tablets will be provided through the Teaching with Google Nexus Project, which is sponsored and managed by AISD’s Office of Innovation and Development and made possible by Google’s contribution of 100 tablets.
