Homebound Instruction Homebound services are available to both general education and special education students based on Texas Education Agency criteria. Information is available with each campus nurse or you may contact Jaala Smith at 512-414-1700 ext. 70164.
School Health Advisory Council
Fit, Healthy and Ready to Learn Research shows that healthy children do better in school—from attendance and behavior to academics and overall performance. The Austin School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) works with the district to help school communities support good health and academic achievement.

Paws Up for Eastside Memorial High School Graduates
Proud parents, family and friends filled the Frank Erwin Center in celebration as Austin ISD celebrated more than 100 graduating seniors of Eastside Memorial High School. School Choice Week Celebration
Austin ISD celebrates National School Choice Week by highlighting the abundance of choices within the district, with a focus on Early College High School. National Choice Week is dedicated to raising public awareness of the options available to students. Join the district at 10 a.m., Jan. 23 at Crockett Early College High School, 5601 Manchaca Road.
Students to have access to counselors, SEL services on first day of school
On the first day of school, students will be welcomed back with friendly counselors at their school. Austin ISD’s goal is to have counselors visible so students know who to talk to as they transition back to on-campus learning.
