The Texas Department of Agriculture recently announced an extension of current school meal programs through December 31. This extension allows Austin ISD to continue to provide free meals for any child under 19, or those over the age of 19 who are utilizing special education resources or currently enrolled in school to complete the requirements for a high school diploma from curbside meal sites.

Temporary Location for AISD Board of Trustees Regular Voting Meeting
The Jan. 27 public hearing and regular voting meeting of the Austin ISD Board of Trustees will be at 7 p.m. in the Black Box Theater at the AISD Performing Arts Center, 1500 Barbara Jordan Blvd. Portions of AISD's new headquarters near Interstate 35 and East Ben White Boulevard remain under construction, including the new board room.
