Prom Rack
In partnership with Write To Me Foundation, Austin ISD will be hosting the annual Prom Rack event at Lanier Early College High School in the large gym. PROMRack provides free dresses to Austin-area high school students through a one-day personal shopping experience. Students must register on Eventbrite to attend. A parent or guardian must accompany all student attendees.
Back-to-School Shots and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
Reminder: Families can receive their Back-to-School shots and COVID-19 immunization this Saturday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the PAC. We are offering all the shots required by law to attend school as well as the COVID-19 vaccine. This opportunity is being hosted by VAX Together Austin and Walgreens. No appointment required! School Health Advisory Council Meeting
The AISD School Health Advisory Council meets on the first Wednesday of every month, with the exception of July and August, from 6:30–8 p.m. Meetings will be held in a training room at the new AISD Headquarters located at 4000 S. IH-35 Frontage Road, 78704 unless otherwise noted. Membership to the SHAC is by annual school board appointment. Meetings are open to all interested persons.
