AISD Offers Online Registration and Enrollment for High School Students

Transition Fair Helps South Austin Families
Over 360 parents and students attended the Crockett and Akins Vertical Team of schools' Famliy Transition Fair, Jan. 24 at Galindo Elementary School.The event was developed and coordinated by AISD Parent Support Specialists and provided opportunities for 5th grade parents and students to meet and talk with staff from their future middle schools.
AISD's 'Two-Way' Dual Language Schools Expand to Six
The Austin School District has expanded — from four to six — the number of elementary schools that will offer its “Two-Way” Dual Language program beginning in Fall 2011. Sunset Valley and Travis Heights elementary schools will join Becker, Ridgetop, Perez, and Wooten elementaries in offering the program for students in Pre-Kindergarten through first grade.
