The International Welcome Center The International Welcome Center serves as a resource hub for newly arrived students and their families enrolled in Austin ISD. For newly arrived students, we support two main groups: (1) refugee and asylum students and their families and (2) newcomer students and their families.

We have a free COVID-19 vaccine opportunity available for our AISD Community, all family members included, 5 years of age and older. Booster shots are available at this clinic. This opportunity is being hosted by the U.S Hispanic Contractors Association and Austin Latino Coalition, in partnership with the Texas Division of Emergency Management.
