New state law mandates tougher enforcement for e-cigarettes (En español)
The Austin ISD Student Success Guide (Student Code of Conduct) is now available on the Austin ISD website for students, parents, and guardians to review. What’s new? A new state law, HB 114, mandates that ALL e-cigarettes (THC and Tobacco) are prohibited at or near public schools and school events.
AISD to Resume Weekend Meal Offerings
Austin ISD Food Services has reinstated its weekend meal program, allowing families with students under the age of 19 to again pick up bundles, which include six meals, during Friday distribution. Families are recommended to bring bags to help get their weekend meals home safely on Fridays. Meals are provided for free at more than 70 locations while school is closed due to COVID-19…
