Austin ISD has kicked off its district-wide series of public conversations about the district’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2024-25. Conversations are in English and Spanish. There are some virtual and some in-person meeting options. We look forward to seeing you!

How Austin ISD is feeding the community over the summer (En español)
Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow, and thrive—even when school is out. Austin ISD is providing free breakfast and lunch for students at many schools throughout the summer through a federally funded Texas Department of Agriculture meal program.
Elementary and Secondary Transition Supports
Transition planning in Texas legally starts before a student’s 14th birthday, but it is never too early to work on transition planning. Participating in career and technical education courses (CTE), completing transition assessments and participating job internships are important for student growth and understanding the workforce.
