AISD Summer Efficiency Schedule June 22–Aug. 14
Beginning June 22 and ending Aug. 14, Austin ISD will operate on a summer efficiency schedule.The program is design to reduce energy costs, and in 2014, saved the district about $716,000.All schools and offices adopt a four-day week during this time. Students at Davis, Doss, Hill, Pillow, Summit and Murchison were greeted by Anderson’s football players, mascot, cheerleaders and Trojan Belles in uniform on the first day of school.
