View 2026 Summer Meal Sites Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow, and thrive—even when school is out. Thanks to federally funded Texas Department of Agriculture meal programs, we provide free breakfast and lunch for students at many schools throughout the summer.
Back to School Bash
On Aug. 12, Austin ISD, in collaboration with the city of Austin, will host its annual Back to School Bash and Safety Fair from 9 a.m.–noon at the Palmer Events Center. Almost 150 community organizations and district departments will provide information and activities to prepare AISD students for a safe and successful school year.
2012-13 Parent Survey Now Available Online
The AISD 2012-2013 parent survey is now closed. Results will be reported by school and for the district by the end of the school year. Reports will be sent to school principals, and the reports will be available at the following AISD website http://www.austinisd.org/dre.
