Wireless Access for Austin ISD students and staff All Staff and students must connect to the “education” wireless network. District owned devices will not be permitted to connect to the AISD-GUEST network. If this is attempted, the new system will direct the user to join the “education” network. AISD credentials cannot be used for registration on the guest network.

Anderson High School Receives Delegates from Koblenz, Germany
Delegates from Koblenz, Germany—Austin’s sister city—recently paid a visit to Anderson High School as part of a celebration commemorating the 20-year relationship between the two cities. For the visit, each delegate donated a German book to the Anderson Library, while Austinites in turn donated their favorite English books to the Koblenz library.
Austin ISD Closes for MLK Day on Jan. 16, Celebrates Holiday on Jan. 18

Reagan High School Marching Band Named Division Champs
The Reagan Soul Raiders have something new to march about. On Jan. 18, the marching band was named division champs at the 14th Annual MLK Battle of the Bands National Marching Competition.The event was held in Houston at Rice Stadium. The Soul Raiders competed in the medium band category for groups of 52–84.
