AISD Celebrates 19th Annual Afterschool Showcase
Last week, students from across the district participated in the 19th Annual Austin ISD Afterschool Showcase at Kealing Middle School.Students spent the evening performing on stage, sharing what they’ve learned throughout the year with each other through interactive exhibits, which included topics like STEM, the arts and health and fitness.
Six AISD Schools Make TBEC Honor Roll
This week, the Texas Business and Education Coalition (TBEC) released its annual honor roll, and out of 253 schools throughout the state that made the list, six were from AISD! These Honor Roll schools represent less than 4% of all public schools in Texas, and include 34 high schools, 38 middle schools and 181 elementary schools.

Reagan High School Marching Band Named Division Champs
The Reagan Soul Raiders have something new to march about. On Jan. 18, the marching band was named division champs at the 14th Annual MLK Battle of the Bands National Marching Competition.The event was held in Houston at Rice Stadium. The Soul Raiders competed in the medium band category for groups of 52–84.

Crockett Senior Earns Gates Millennium Scholarship
