Families receive free meals, books at Summer Kick-Off Event
As part of her Thursday routine, Austin ISD parent Diana Celis arrived at Padron Elementary — in one hand she held her daughter’s hand, in the other a reusable bag. The bag was to make sure she could haul home her free seven-day meal packs and the books her daughter picked out to take home.
National Parent Involvement Day 2018
National Parent Involvement Day is a day to recognize and honor the contributions of parents and families to student success. The district welcomes all families to join their children at school Nov. 15.
