Two Austin ISD Students Receive National Scholarship Out of 5,800 Applicants
Two Austin ISD seniors are shining bright on the national stage after being selected as just two of 61 recipients of the Cooke College Scholarship. Austin ISD Continues to Support and Participate in Annual Pride Events
Austin ISD is committed to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for students, staff and families. June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month. The month has been recognized since 1970, one year after the Stonewall Uprising, which took place on June 28, 1969, commemorating the impact the riots had had on society.
