Akins Eagles Celebrate Graduation
The Akins Early College High School community, staff, families and friends joined together June 15 to celebrate the 2020 graduating class through a virtual ceremony. Graduate Highlight: Evan Craig is breaking barriers at Austin High
Evan Craig is creating important dialogues about racial justice at Austin High School. Craig has been the president of the Black Student Alliance at Austin High School for three consecutive years and is currently treasurer of the Student Council. He was also named the 2022 African American Senior Scholar, with the highest GPA of all Black students at Austin High School.
