Teacher Incentive Allotment in Austin ISD Austin ISD is thrilled to announce our official acceptance into the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) through the Texas Education Agency. TIA was created by the Texas Legislature to provide a pathway for top-performing teachers to earn higher salaries and help districts attract and retain highly effective teachers.

Austin ISD students delivered some of the district’s strongest Advanced Placement (AP) results to date. By the numbers: This spring, more than 7,200 students took over 15,000 AP exams.
