District hosts hiring event for individuals interested in joining food service, transportation, custodial, and facilities maintenance teams

Austin ISD is looking to hire qualified individuals for food service, transportation, custodial, and facilities maintenance teams at a hiring event Oct. 3. 

Representatives from the district will be on-site to interview interested candidates and support attendees through the application process. 

What: Hiring event for food service, transportation, custodial, and facilities maintenance teams

When: Saturday, Oct. 3, 9-11:30 a.m.

Where: Austin ISD Central Office, 4000 S. IH 35 Frontage Road

Positions available:

• Bus Drivers & Mechanics
• Custodians, Electricians & Facilities Maintenance
• Grounds Crew
• Food Service Substitutes & Manager Trainees

To be interviewed at the event, attendees should bring a printed resume, a list of work experience, or complete the online application in advance through www.austinisd.org/careers.

Bus Driver pay starts at $25.50 per hour

Other classified positions start from $20.00 per hour - $20.25 per hour
