Austin ISD Senior Communications Specialist Cristina Nguyen has returned to the Department of Communications and Community Engagement, effective June 1, to support communications and community outreach efforts through the media relations team. 

Nguyen was most recently on family leave and Patricia Fraga served as the temporary Senior Communications Specialist. Nguyen will rejoin Communication Specialist Eduardo Villa to field media requests, facilitate interviews and serve as a district spokesperson.
