Join Austin ISD for its Splash into summer reading with some of Austin’s favorite authors from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at the AISD Performing Arts Center, 1500 Barbara Jordon Blvd.
The event is free and open to the public and is a celebration of books and reading for students and their families. Featuring exciting authors, interactive sessions, hands-on activities, book signings, and more, the Splash event is geared toward readers in grades 3 through 6, but all are welcome.
Brought to you by AISD Libraries in partnership with BookPeople and the Austin Public Library, the Splash is part of AISD's five Book Dive summer reading program, which encourages all students to read at least five books of their choice over the summer.
