AISD to Celebrate National School Choice Week, Highlight Program Options

Austin ISD will celebrate National School Choice Week by highlighting the abundance of choices within the district, with a focus on Early College High School. National Choice Week is dedicated to raising public awareness of the options available to students. 

The district currently offers early college high school options at six campuses. The program allows students to earn up to 60 hours of college credit at no cost and the potential to graduate with both an associates degree from Austin Community College and a high school diploma. 

What: Speakers will include families and students, who will share their stories about why they choose AISD. District officials will also invite attendees to attend the open houses scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26. at all early college high schools.
