Students at Eastside Memorial Early College High School and International High School will see part of their campus transformation into a 21st-century learning space years before moving into a fully modernized campus.

In partnership with Austin ISD and the Austin Council of PTAs, Office Depot is bringing modernized and progressive learning environments to transform the way students learn on campus. Eastside Memorial and International have been selected to showcase the innovative learning environment, which will be highlighted a celebration with students.

Eastside Memorial and International will move to an $80 million modernized campus at the original L.C. Anderson site as part of the 2017 Bond. The campus, which will have the capacity for 800 students, will break ground winter 2019 and is scheduled to open June 2021.

What: A firsthand look at flexible furniture and innovative learning environment, including visuals of students in the workspace.

Who: Eastside Memorial Principal Miguel Garcia, International Principal Leticia Vega, ACPTA President Lynn Boswell, and students will be available for interviews on-site. Office Depot representatives will also be available for interviews.
