At last night’s regular board meeting, the board appointed Michelle Amezquita-Navarro to serve as the principal of Travis Heights Elementary School.

Amezquita-Navarro most recently served as the assistant principal at Oak Hill Elementary School. She previously worked as assistant principal at Clayton Elementary School and a teacher at Metz Elementary School.

Amezquita-Navarro has a bachelor’s degree in applied learning and development from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in education and administration from Concordia University.
