Austin ISD is celebrating National School Choice Week with an event promoting the numerous options available in Austin ISD schools, including student performances and demonstrations and an announcement that could benefit current and future Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy students.
What: Speakers include parents and students, who will share their stories about why they choose AISD. Superintendent Paul Cruz will announce a new opportunity for students wishing to attend Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy. Representatives from Garcia YMLA and Covington Fine Arts Academy will also speak and be available for interviews.
