On Dec. 16, runoff election day, AISDTV Channel 22 will be a source for the latest results of the AISD board election.

The full board consists of nine members. Voters will elect Trustee Single Member Positions 1 and 6 as well as the At-Large Position 9. 

What: Presentation of the AISD Board of Trustees candidates can be viewed on AISDTV Channel 22.

When: Candidate presentations will air from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16; results will air that evening.

Where: AISDTV Channel 22 is available on TWC as Channel 22 if you have a TWC digital box, or Channel 10.22 if you have basic cable and a digital TV, on Grande as Channel 22, on the AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 menu and on Roku

Background: The AISD Board of Trustees is composed of a group of unpaid, dedicated individuals, who guide the Austin Independent School District toward excellence. As the district's elected leaders, trustees represent community expectations as they chart the direction of educational programs and services and establish the standard by which success is measured. During the Nov. 4 election, voters re-elected incumbent Robert Schneider to the District 7 seat and selected Julie Cowan as the new District 4 trustee.
