AUSTIN, Texas—More than 1,200 band members from Austin ISD's 12 high schools will unite for the 41st annual Marching Band Jamboree.

What: Band Jamboree, featuring the University of Texas Longhorn Band

When: 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17

Where: Tony Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road

Background: At the Band Jamboree, AISD provides students the opportunity to perform together and showcase their talents. The annual performance also serves as the largest fundraiser for fine arts programs in the district.

Admission is $3 and tickets may be purchased at the event or from any AISD high school band member. Children under 12 can attend free of charge.
