AUSTIN, TX--This weekend, Austin ISD families and community members will pay homage to the commitment and sacrifice of the 55 young men from Albert Sydney Johnston High School, now Eastside Memorial, who died while serving in the Vietnam War or were victims of Agent Orange.

What: Eastside community unveils Vietnam memorial monument

When: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 25

Where: Eastside Memorial High School, 1012 Arthur Stiles Road

Background: Alumni, families and friends of the Johnston servicemen worked with Eastside Memorial school leaders to create a place where their loved ones can be remembered for many years to come. A reception will follow the unveiling ceremony.
