Austin, Texas—Students in the Austin Independent School District are scheduled to take the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness this week.

To reduce distractions and help students focus on their tests, the news media’s access to AISD campuses will be limited during the week of May 13.

The first week of this month's STAAR testing began April 1. As has been the practice on test days in the past, the district will continue to limit visitors’ access to schools during student assessment periods. As always, AISD appreciates the news media’s cooperation.
