Austin, TX—The Austin Independent School District’s Board of Trustees will hold a special board meeting this weekend. No action will be taken by the board during the meeting.

When: 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23

Where: AISD, Carruth Administration Center, Board Auditorium, 1111 W. Sixth St.

Background: During the special meeting, the board is scheduled to discuss the proposed scope, size and tax for a potential bond program and the development of a plan for the future of Eastside Memorial High School at the Johnston Campus. The agenda and topics will be posted officially by noon Wednesday, Feb. 20.

AISD will broadcast the meeting live on Channel 22 and online at www.austinisd.org.
